Eric Udelhoven – Managing Director
Eric started Catalyst in 2003 and has used his experience in all aspects of the construction field to grow Catalyst into a successful, customer-oriented business. Eric is one of only a handful of people in the greater Chicagoland area that is a National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Certified Remodeler, and is also a Certified Installer of Kohlers DTV systems.
Eric received his Bachelors in Construction Management from the Mechanics Institute of New York City, NY, and received additional education from the United Brotherhood of Carpenters as a Journeyman Carpenter. He is also served in the U.S. Army 173rd Airborne Brigade.
Eric currently lives in Chicago with his fiancée, Mary. His hobbies include Architecture & Engineering, playing recreational football, and studying Shaolin Kung-Fu.
Tom McDermott – Controller
Tom joined Catalyst in 2010 and manages all the company accounting and finance functions. Tom has 25 years of accounting/finance experience including McDonald’s, Flat Top Grill and Rosebud Restaurants.
In addition, he is a CPA and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. Tom is a Chicago resident where he lives with his wife, Susan, and their two daughters Grace and Claire.
